As all of Chavez Studio's designs are crafted solely by Richard and Jared, available inventory is rarely available outside of the number of shows they take part in throughout the year. Commissioning an item is generally the best way to acquire a Chavez Studio Design, this also ensures that you will be receiving an item that is tailored to fit you exactly. Richard I. Chavez never sought recognition for his work when starting his career as a lapidary artist in 1976. His thoughts were first and foremost of making a better life for his family. Yet in the years since, Richard would become known for his craft and his work would be highly sought after. In 2006, Richard’s son Jared would officially join him in the business, forming Chavez Studio.
